Happy Birthday To Greg

Yesterday was Greg's 31st!! The girls and I cooked a cake for him as soon as they got home from school. They LOVE to help, especially to crack the eggs. He picked out funfetti cake and it was pretty darn good. I wanted to get a picture with all 31 candles lit so... TA-DAH!

And here's the birthday boy. Yes, we bombarded him as soon as he walked in the door from work-we just couldn't contain our excitement.

An Early Birthday Present

My bestest friend, Sabrina brought me an early b-day present last night. I thought it was the cutest thing ever!! It's a notepad with the kids on it and my address is on the bottom but I figured I didn't need to share that with the world. It so looks like how I would dress them, too. Alyson even said, "I used to have that shirt when I was in kindergarten". Check out my little blondie-Bryson. How precious is that? I LOVE it. Thanks Sabrina!

Poor Baby

This look just says it all. Bryson was really sick tonight. He's had a cough and runny nose all day long and tonight he developed a fever of 100.7. I finally got some medicine down him after he threw up the whole first dose on me and him. He fights me so bad when it comes to him taking medicine. We just got him in bed, his fever was down and he was doing lots better. :)

I Feel Pretty, Oh So Pretty

Atleast my toes look it!! Greg got me a pedicure for Valentine's day and I couldn't be happier with it. I got out Sat. morning and went to sign the girls up for ball, went to Target to look around and went on to my relaxing pedicure all by myself. It was delicious. Here's a pic of my toes. I just know you wanted to see them.

While I was at Target I found these cute little earmuffs. They're Dora which is o.k. with Abby
cause she's still in love with Dora, Alyson outgrew it a long time ago. But they were on clearance so I got them both a pair. They'll only wear them to play in the snow which will be like 1 time a year right?

Drum Roll Please....

Here is Abby's new room!! I'm so proud of it. It's mighty green. Let me just say that these little dot stickers were the easiest thing to decorate with. I would definately recommend them to anyone. They came from Target and are about $15 for 4 sheets of them. Abby helped out with them and she thought it was so fun-you know actually being able to put stickers on the wall and not get in trouble about it. I tried to include pics from several different angles so you get the full effect. I'm really hoping I'll leave her room this way for years to come. I have problems with wanting to re-decorate all the time-I've got to stop it!! This is the 3rd time this room has been painted and we've only been here for almost 3 years. Bad huh?

Alyson's Tooth & Valentine's Puppies

First of all, here is a picture of Alyson with her latest pulled tooth (bottom left). At the rate they're coming out, the tooth fairy is gonna' be broke in no time!! Especially since my wonderful husband thinks that her teeth are worth $5-10 a pop. Now, I don't know about ya'll but I got CHANGE under my pillow as a child. That was many, many years ago, though. I guess if you put inflation into account, it equals out. Anyway, here she is with the missing tooth and here is a copy of the little letter she wrote at school last week (because they were learning all about teeth). Some of the words are misspelled but you still know what she's talking about.

The next picture is of our trip to Build-A-Bear on Saturday. We decided to take the girls to get the Valentine's puppy for their gift. They enjoyed it (as always).

Crafty Creations

I just had to post pictures of the crafts I've been busy with lately. The first are pictures I did on canvas for the girls' new rooms (whenever we get them done). These will go above their beds. I thought they turned out really cute and they were pretty easy to do too. Just a side note-Alyson's room will be in pink/brown and Abby's is in aqua/lime/blue.

These are the Valentine's Day gifts that the girls and I made for their teachers. I got the idea out of "Family Fun" magazine. It just showed a cup with a packet of cocoa and the tag said "Ms. So-N-So, You Warm My Heart". Well, being the crafty craft crafter that I am, I thought it would be much nicer to get a real valentine's mug, not 1, but 3 packs of hot cocoa, 2 pairs of warm gloves and a nifty little valentine's note pad all wrapped up and enclosed with little heart shaped tags with the special message. I LOVE them!!
