I'd have to say that Alyson's first year at basketball went extremely well. We're so proud of her and the whole team. They took 2nd place in the county tournament, which I think is pretty awesome. They each received a medallion and the team got a big trophy. Goooooo Eagles!!

Snow Day......Or Atleast An Afternoon
We enjoyed a couple of hours of snow falling heavily at our house a couple of weeks ago as I'm sure everyone else did that lives around here. I wanted to show off the pictures of the kids playing in it. They LOVED it!! The first picture you can actually see the snow, the other pictures, not so much. Oh well, enjoy.

Sweet Sisters
We are re-doing the girls' bedrooms (I'll post pictures when we get it all done) and we went ahead and moved Alyson's bed into her new bedroom last night. After we got it all set up she and Abby were in Abby's room and it sounded to me like they were saying their "goodbyes". It was so sweet to listen to. Abby told Alyson if she wanted to come play in her room she could anytime and Alyson returned the favor by telling Abby if she wanted to play the Hannah Montana game on the tv she could come in her room. It was just too funny to listen to them. This morning I asked Alyson how she slept last night in her own room and she said "I had a little bit of trouble cause I was by myself". Yeah right, she was out in like 5 minutes. I really hope they do turn out to be close and actually love each other and enjoy being with each other as they get bigger!

Happy Anniversary Baby-I Got You On My Mind!!
O.k., if you listen to Rick & Bubba, then you'll "get" my title. Well, our big 10 year anniversary was December 27. Wow-10 years!! In some ways it's flown by. I can still remember the moment I was about to walk into the church to go down the isle and it was FREEZING outside. I was trying to talk to Daddy and my mouth was just shivering. I'm tellin ya it was cold. It was probably a mixture of the cold and my nerves.
Greg really out-did himself this year. He surprised me with an overnight trip to a hotel in Huntsville. He took me to dinner at Luciano (a nice italian restaurant). He even called ahead just to make sure that they served my favorite italian meal-eggplant parmesean. How sweet is that? At the hotel we had a huge jacuzi tub and it was so nice to just lay back and relax. We had such a good time but I was ready to be back with my babies. About 24 hours away is all I can really stand right now. :)
