Abby's 7th Birthday Party

Abby had her princess birthday party on Saturday night. It went so good & she had so much fun. I even made the tu-tu for her to wear at the party. It turned out really cute if I do say so myself. :) She had about 4 girls to stay the night & they did pretty good. All in all a success!!

I absolutely loved her invitations. I thought they were adorable. But, when I ordered them like 4 months ago I didn't know that the Fall Festival would fall on the 24th so I had to take a black sharpie to it & mark out 24 & write 17th. :( Oh well.

Cheer Camp 2009

The girls went to Mini Cheer Camp every day this week after school. The loved it. On Friday night before the football game, they got to get out on the field & show what they had learned. It was so cute. They did a little dance to Miley Cyrus' "Party In The USA" and then they did a couple of cheers. Precious I tell ya.

T-shirt Contest

Abby won the T-shirt contest for 1st grade!! The shirts finally came in & she brought it home today. The students will wear these on field trips & such. She was so proud & so am I.

Forgive the quality-I scanned it so you could see the detail good:

Misc. October 2009

Well, so far this has been a pretty busy month & I know it's only going to get busier. ;) We've got Abby's b-day coming up, fall festival & Halloween to come. Here are some pics showing a little bit of what we've been up to.

I got a haircut:

I cut Bryson's hair. (Yes, I cut his hair & am giddy everytime I do it thinking about all the money I save, cause his hair grows so fast & no, I didn't go to beauty school. Just kind of figured it out on my own. You may not want to look too close sometimes ;0) These are "before" pics:

We went to a football game to see our friend Brandon play. He's a senior & I can't believe it. Camryn & Bryson had a ball playing together. Check out Camryn's jersey. Cute, huh?

And, you know every year I've got to take pictures in front of my fall scene.

Happy Fall Ya'll...

Kate minus Jon & Eight

My friend Kym & I ventured down to Birmingham to see Kate Gosselin today. She was speaking at a Southern Women's Conference. She didn't speak until 1:00 but we got there at 10:00 to make sure we got a good seat, and sure enough we got front row!! The conference had lots of booths set up so we took turns shopping/looking while the other saved our seats. She just answered questions from the audience for about 30 minutes. We basically learned nothing new cause we pretty much keep tabs on the woman. Ha!! There was a moment that made us cry. This mom had surprised her special needs daughter by bringing her to see Kate. They knew she would cry when she saw her and she did. Precious!! We had so much fun. Sidenote: Can I just say how disgusted I am with my camera? Ugh so frustrating to have not-so-great pics!!

I just HAD to take a picture of these heels. I don't know any mom that wears these around!! You can't really tell, but they were HIGH HIGH heels.

After seeing Kate, we went and had a late lunch at J. Alexander's. That place is so darn good. Then we went in to Macy's right quick. That was my first time shopping there and I scored a bathing suit & a shirt for Alyson for like $7 total. Score!!

Alyson's 9th Birthday Party

Oh my goodness, my girl will be 9 on Tues. That is just sooo hard to believe. We had her "Hello Kitty" party Sat. night. There were about 10 girls that ended up staying the night. As you can imagine, there was lots of squealing, running & giggling going on.

We wrote names of prizes on pieces of paper, stuffed them in balloons, then the girls had to pop a balloon to see what prize they won. Alyson totally got into it:
